Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our statistical analysis services, process, and policies — all in one place.

How We Work

We support bachelor's theses, master's dissertations, doctoral research, and scientific articles across all disciplines — including medicine, psychology, sociology, economics, education, nursing, public health, and business. Whether you have survey data, clinical records, or experimental results, we have experience with the statistical methods your field requires.

We primarily work with SPSS, Python (pandas, scipy, statsmodels, scikit-learn), and R. For simpler projects, we also use Excel. You'll receive editable source files — .spv output for SPSS, commented Python scripts or Jupyter notebooks, and formatted Excel workbooks — so you or your advisor can verify every step.

Standard projects (bachelor's and master's level) are typically delivered within 48 hours. More complex analyses — doctoral-level work, large datasets, or multivariate models like SEM or factor analysis — may take 3 to 5 business days. After reviewing your project, we'll provide a specific delivery timeline before you commit.

It's straightforward: (1) you send us your data and requirements via the contact form or WhatsApp; (2) we review your project and send a quote, usually within a few hours; (3) once confirmed, we run the analysis and deliver a complete report with tables, charts, and interpretation; (4) you review the results and can request one free round of revisions if anything needs adjusting.

Yes — methodology consulting is part of every package. We review your research design, variable types, hypotheses, and data distribution to select the most appropriate methods. If you're unsure about any aspect of your methodology, we'll guide you through the decision process and explain why each test is the right fit.

We provide statistical interpretation and conclusions that are clear, detailed, and ready to integrate. We don't write full thesis chapters, but our reports include complete interpretations following APA and academic standards, making it straightforward for you to adapt the content into your own writing style. Weaving the findings into your own chapter stays in your hands — which is exactly how your university expects it to work.

Every package includes one free revision round. If your advisor requests changes to the statistical approach, additional post-hoc tests, or a different way of presenting results, we'll address them at no extra cost — as long as the changes fall within the original project scope. Major scope expansions (e.g., adding entirely new research questions) are quoted separately.

Costs & What's Included

Our standard packages start at €99 for bachelor's theses, €149 for master's theses, and €199 for doctoral research. These prices cover standard analyses — descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, correlations, regression — along with data cleaning, interpretation, and one revision round. Complex or non-standard projects (large datasets, advanced multivariate methods, SEM) receive a custom quote after we review your requirements.

No. The price we quote is the price you pay. We don't charge extra for data cleaning, assumption checks, effect size calculations, or the interpretation report — these are included in every package. The only time pricing changes is if the scope of work expands significantly beyond the original agreement.

We accept bank transfers, PayPal, and Wise. Payment is typically requested after you've reviewed and approved the quote. For larger projects, we can arrange a 50/50 split — half upfront and half upon delivery.

Statistical results reflect what the data shows — we can't guarantee specific outcomes. However, if there's a methodological error on our part or if the analysis doesn't match what was agreed, we'll redo it at no charge. The free revision round also covers adjustments to presentation, additional explanations, or alternative analyses within the original scope.

Your Data, Your Privacy

Absolutely. We treat all client data with strict confidentiality. Your datasets are never shared, published, stored beyond project completion, or used for any purpose other than your specific project. We handle data in compliance with GDPR. If required, we can also sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

All data uploaded to Academic Stats Agent is processed exclusively on our secure server and is never shared with third parties or used for model training. Your files are automatically deleted from our servers after 7 days. We do not access or use your data for any purpose other than generating your statistical analysis. If you need your data retained longer (for example, to re-run an analysis), you can request an extension. We comply fully with GDPR data protection requirements.

You can send your data via the contact form on our website, through email (office@studentstats.net), or directly via WhatsApp. We accept Excel (.xlsx), CSV, SPSS (.sav), and most other common data formats. If your file is large, we can provide a secure file-sharing link.

Yes. We regularly work with anonymized clinical and medical datasets. We recommend that you anonymize your data before sending it — remove patient names, IDs, and any directly identifying information. If your institution has specific data handling requirements, let us know and we'll accommodate them.

About the Academic Stats Agent

Unlike ChatGPT, our Academic Stats Agent actually runs your data through real statistical computations — it doesn't approximate or hallucinate results. It selects appropriate tests based on your variables and data distribution, executes them with validated statistical libraries, and generates a structured report with real p-values, effect sizes, and tables you can use directly.

Yes. Running analyses is free and unlimited — no credits needed. Credits are only used when you export a formatted APA-7 report. Every new account receives 5 free report credits so you can try the full experience before purchasing more. After those are used, credit packs start at €4.90.

No prior statistics knowledge is needed. The app guides you through the process: upload your data, describe your research question, and it handles test selection, execution, and interpretation. The results are explained in plain language alongside the technical output.

Yes. The app generates academically structured output with properly formatted tables, test statistics, and interpretations. You can integrate the results into your thesis. For complex projects or when your advisor requires human-verified analysis, we recommend our full professional service.
